Small Grants Program

The CRE_ICHEAR offers Small Grants on a rolling basis throughout the year. Funding for Small Grants is from $200 up to and not exceeding $5,000. The Small Grants program is available to individuals and institutions to support activities and professional development in the field of ear and hearing health of Indigenous children. Grants are awarded on a one-off basis only.

Grants may be used for a range of activities, including to support conference attendance costs, undertake training or short courses, or to cover fieldwork costs associated with research or placement opportunities, and support secondments.

Priority will be given to:

  • Professional development of students, health workers and researchers in the field of ear and hearing health of Indigenous children
  • Supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people studying or working in the field of ear and hearing health
  • Applicants who demonstrate commitment to working in the field of ear and hearing health, particularly of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children
