ISOM 2019 Report by Prof. Harvey Coates AO

We're delighted to have our researchers and their CRE-ICHEAR supported projects featured in Professor Harvey Coates' ISOM 2019 report.

Professor Harvey Coates is a Paediatric Otolaryngologist, Consultant ENT surgeon and Clinical Professor at the University of Western Australia, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Paediatrics. He is held in extremely high regard and in 2005, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia for his work and research in paediatric otolaryngology and ear disease in Aboriginal children. 

In his ISOM 2019 report, Professor Coates commented on presentations delivered by Professor Amanda Leach and Dr Chris Brennan-Jones. Professor Amanda Leach presented the work of the CRE-ICHEAR and launched the newly developed OMapp to a global audience. While Dr Chris Brennan-Jones presented the results of his Cochrane Collaboration Review of chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM). Both projects were supported by the CRE-ICHEAR project grants.
